When I was in 8th grade, I went with Southside Baptist Church to Atlanta to work with refugees. We spent two days playing and talking with the children about Jesus. It was a great experience for me, I met many new children and a lot of them learned about Jesus.

For a few years, I have been working VBS for First Baptist Church in Pelham. My friends and I have always helped the adults with one of the little kid classes. We get to read bible stories, eat snacks, play games at game time, and teach the kids music. Working for VBS is one of my favorite activities!

Bocce Ball
One of my favorite services to work is definitely Bocce Ball. At this event, I get to work with my friends to help the Mitchell Baker Service Center have a great time. It is full of laughs and smiles and that is the main reason I love participating in Bocce Ball.
The Dance
To help out with my New York payments last summer, I got the chance to help run the middle school dance. It was full of energy and laughs and that is why I had a great time!
Sandwiches
In the beginning of 2017, Albany, Georgia had a few tornadoes come over their city Homes were ruined, and people were left in the cold. I had the honor to go with my computer class and make sandwiches to give to those that were trying to help restore power and homes to those in need. I found this a great opportunity, as it was great to know that i was helping out the many people in need so close to my hometown.
